Funny Friday: Bailey vs Vacuum (Video)

For the past few months, the dreaded vacuum has been lingering around the house… not in the closet where it usually stands.

I know my family has been doing a lot of fixing up around the house, and the vacuum is used a lot, but why can’t it be put away? I’m OK when it’s standing in the corner not moving, but once mommy or daddy move it, I’m all over it.

Funny Friday: Bailey vs Vacuum
Last night, daddy was using another powerful vacuum to clean out
his computer (I wonder where all that fur came from?), and he
decided to make that moment playtime with me.

As you’ll see in the video, Nala isn’t phased fazed by the vacuum at all.

(VOCAB LESSON: BTW, I did originally have “phased” listed here instead of “fazed,” but I learned just a few days later that the word I was indeed looking for, was “fazed.” I’m not the only one though — it seems that many people confuse these 2 words. “Fazed” means: to disturb or disconcert (someone), while “phased” means: to carry out (something) in gradual stages; or to introduce into (or withdraw from) use in gradual stages. So there you have it. ๐Ÿ™‚

Bailey vs Vacuum

Happy Friday, friends! Big woofs & hugs!

  1. Bailey, what a cute video!!! Our vacuum sits in the corner most of the time because mom thinks it is too much work to use it more than a few times a year!!! Her motto…..so whats a little dust and a lot of fur anyway!!! Lots of love, Holly & mom

  2. Brian says:

Oh Bailey, I’m so proud of you for getting after that evil vacuum, I’ve been wanting someone to do that for the longest time! Great video!!!

  3. Sophie says:

  5. siku marie says:

  7. Too funny Bailey! Jada has a love/hate relationship with our vacuum too.

  9. Bailey says:

You are so brave. Mom makes us go outside when she vacuums. We are a little upset and she feels she gets more done without our attacks on the machine. We saw one of those robot vaccums and live in fear of Mom getting one. She says she’s afraid our hair would kill it. Always knew our hair would protect us.

  10. Priscilla says:

This noisy thingy bothers me a lot too and I’m learning on how to deal with it calmly. It’s really hard though. By the way, I really don’t understand why Mika and Orah aren’t interested in it at all!!!

  11. That looks like fun, Bailey. We don’t have one that blows the air out – we think that would be a lot more fun. Cute little human feties in the background:)

Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara

  12. Oh Bailey….is you tryin’ to catch da air???? Me always attacks da Count Vacula too when da Mama sucks up da floor, (Note from Mom…doesn’t happen often). Gots to protect my terror-tory!

    Barks….

  13. Those vacuum cleaners are just pure evil.

P.S. – I use Spam Free, too, and have noticed an increase in spam getting through the first layer, but fairly quick to clean it our each night and none is getting all of the way to the website (because I have to approve a commenter the first time they comment). Other spam blockers seem to block too much of the real comments.

I approve comments too! But I prefer not to see the spam if I don’t have to (just when I click on the column to clean everything out). It’s definitely much less with SweetCaptcha — SpamFree really wasn’t catching most of the spam. ๐Ÿ™

      Woofs!

  14. Suka says:

    hey Bailey,

You go girl! You showed that vacuum cleaner who is boss! BOL! That thing is LOUD! I am impressed you stood your ground against that loud monster. And Nala, so funny that she is unfazed by it all.

  15. Chandra says:

Get it, Bailey! Good girl! … How cute is Nala just chillin’ in the background?!
