Is your doggie compatible with your family? My mommy recently took a test to find out!
Before I tell you about the online test I took, I want to remind you that BaileyBeGood.com is gonna be featured starting tomorrow on Pet Blogs United! I had to provide a few of my favorite posts and tell a little about myself — it’s been a while since I submitted my information, that I can’t remember what I provided! I guess it’ll be a nice surprise to read about me tomorrow!

Now for the compatibility test…
I had read about the Animal Planet Dog Selector Test on The Court of Tails, after Jess and Lola’s mommy had taken it. I wondered what doggies would come up if my mommy took the test.
I asked my mommy to take the test, and she answered the questions as if she was looking for a doggie like me. Wouldn’t you know… a Belgian Shepherd came up 95%! Mommy says that she wishes she knew what other breeds I am, ’cause there are a few behaviors that she wasn’t exactly looking for! BOL
Here are some of the doggies that the test showed, would be most compatible with my mommy:
1. Anatolian Shepherd 98% (This was the type of doggie that my doctor thought I was mixed with when I was a puppy)
2. Canaan Dog 97% (Mommy doesn’t know what this doggie is)
3. Doberman Pinscher 97% (Mommy never wanted a Doberman)
4. German Shepherd Dog 97% (There we go! I’m a Shepherd mix!)
5. Beauceron 96% (Don’t know this dog either)
6. Black Russian Terrier 96% (Mommy never wanted a Terrier)
7. Greater Swiss Mountain Dog 96% (She never wanted this type of doggie either)
8. Komondor 96% (Mommy never wanted this type of doggie — how could this doggie’s fur be LOW maintenance?!)
9. Rhodesian Ridgeback 96% (Nope, not this one)
10. Belgian Tervuren 95% (There we go! A Belgian!)
11. Chesapeake Bay Retriever 95% (Mommy never thought she wanted a Retriever. Hey, I retrieve stuff!)
12. Curly-Coated Retriever 95%
13. Flat-Coated Retriever 95%
14. Pointer 95% (Mommy never wanted a Pointer doggie)
15. Poodle (Standard) 95% (And she never wanted a Poodle either)
16. Saluki (or Gazelle Hound) 95%
17. Akita 94%
18. Belgian Malinois 94% (Belgian again!)
19. Black and Tan Coonhound 94%
20. Collie 94% (Don’t know how they can say that a Collie’s fur is low maintenance)
21. Gordon Setter 94%
22. Mastiff 94% (This doggie’s way too big!)
23. Plott 94%
24. Spinone Italiano 94%
25. Sussex Spaniel 94%
26. Tibetan Mastiff 94% (Big doggie!)
27. Welsh Springer Spaniel 94%
28. American Staffordshire Terrier 93%
29. Australian Shepherd 93%
30. Belgian Sheepdog 93% (There I am again! Phew!)
So there you have it — the breeds that Animal Planet says my mommy would be most compatible with. But that test doesn’t really matter, does it? I’m here and I’m most compatible with my mommy, whether she likes it or not. Teehee!
I don’t have to take the test.
I know my mommy’s 100% compatible with me! π
BTW… I’ve gone ahead and closed comments on posts older than 30 days — I don’t know if this is the right thing to do, but I’ve been getting such spam on old posts recently. I’d love to know your thoughts. π

We were a bit worried when our Mom was doing that test…what would the answer be? Luckily one of her top dogs to have was a Miiature Schnauzer at 97%…phew! We were beaten by a Border Terrier and a Fox terrier, no worries there, we’re far more handsome π Have a great weekend Bailey, Dex and Lou xxx

Mom’s got good taste. However, I don’t think should could get a better fit than you.
That sounds like a fun test, we will have the Momster test it out. We hope we show up on that list too.
