Review: Memory Card Organizer & Steve Jobs Tribute

Furry and non-furry bloggie friends… do you take lots of pictures? I bet you do! Do you have a digital camera that uses SD cards? Then you’ll find this post very helpful. I also included an update on my mommy’s computer, and a tribute to Steve Jobs.

Look below for the Good Stuff vs. the Not-So-Good Stuff…

Do you have a pile of SD cards similar to this one? It’s possible to
organize them this way. But it’s also easy to lose them. My mommy was
dropping them all over the place (I love when she does that), until…

She found the Memory Card Organizer, by Pioneer Photo Albums, Inc.!

It’s really thin — less than 3/8 of an inch!

Here ya go — you can see how big it is.
Just compare it to my size. Oh, is that not easy?

Here’s my mommy’s hand then. I guess you could get
a better idea of how small it is. ๐Ÿ™‚

This organizer holds up to 10 SD cards, SDHC,
MicroSD, Memory Stick Pro Duo, XD, & many others.

Each compartment lifts up and snaps closed.

It even comes with a sheet of 10 sticky labels, so you can
place them on your SD cards (in case they get separated from
their compartment), and write on them. Just don’t forget to
remove these when using your SD card.

The Good Stuff:

  • It’s made of durable, anti-static and shock resistant plastic.
  • There’s no accidental tearing of any vinyl, like in those vinyl pouch organizers.
  • It protects your precious memories that are stored on memory cards.
  • Allows you to organize 10 SD cards, so they won’t get lost.
  • Keeps all your SD cards in one handy organizer, so there’s no need for all your single SD card holders.
  • There’s a place to write your card information on the outside of each pocket.
  • Includes labels for 10 SD cards.
  • The organizer fits in a 4″x6″ photo album pocket.
  • They’re stackable!
  • One organizer is easy to carry, than 10 single SD cards in their holders.

The Not-So-Good Stuff:

  • I haven’t found anything!

My conclusion?

If you take lots of pictures as I think you do, you probably have lots of SD cards around. Well, unless you reuse them. Mommy and Taylor try to use theirs over and over, but they take so many darn pictures — there’s no time to move the pictures off the card and onto the computer! So they usually just go get another SD card. Lucky for Nala and me, huh? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Buy it!

If you’d like to have one of these memory card holders for yourself, I found them at one of my favorite online shopping places, Amazon.com. I used my affiliate link, which means that if you make a purchase through the link I provided, I will get a small commission so I could buy more toys! Teehee! ๐Ÿ™‚

Mommy’s new computer…

It’s just about done. Daddy’s just waiting for a couple of fans to add to the inside (haha, the computer has FANS). Then I’m gonna take back my net book and hide it!

Here’s the inside of mommy’s computer. The case is
from her old computer, but the inside stuff is all new.

Don’t tell daddy, but last night I worked on mommy’s computer a little. Well, he’s taking way too long to finish it himself!

So if something goes wrong, I’m counting on you to back me up. K?

Steve Jobs Tribute…

I didn’t know Steve Jobs, but he sure had a lot of friends, followers, and admirers. I hear he changed the way a generation uses technology… that’s gotta be a big accomplishment.

Mommy and Taylor passed by an Apple store in a mall yesterday, and found a tribute to Steve Jobs with Post-itยฎ notes and flowers. I thought I would share a couple of pics that they took…

Taylor said that one lady passed by while they were taking
pictures, and she asked if someone had died. When someone told
her Steve Jobs, she asked, “Who’s that?” I don’t blame that
lady… I didn’t know who he was. But I’m just a puppy. ๐Ÿ˜‰

There were some very sweet sentiments written on
different colored Post-itยฎ notes.
Look at the Apple apple! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Mommy and Taylor thought this was a lot of Post-itยฎ notes — they should see this picture I found online, of a Steve Jobs tribute at an Apple store in Hong Kong.

I have no association with the company mentioned in the above review (Pioneer Photo Albums, Inc.). Mommy bought this product with her own money. My puppy opinions are my own.

I love the memory card organizer. And you are right that I used a lot of memory cards. Currently I have them stocked in my drawers. I am actually searching for a way to keep them organized and I am glad to have read your post.

We love anything that helps momma stay organized! The holder looks like a handy practical idea! thanks for the review.

That is a really cool way to keep memory cards.

  4. Those look great, but Mommy is one who dumps all her photos onto the computer right away and then backs them up on an external hard drive. I think she only owns two of those little SD things. But thanks for the great review.

Hope your Mommy’s computer gets done soon. I would not want to share either.

  5. Mommy always re-uses her memory cards but you just gave her an idea. That would be a good way to preserve all her pictures since a card will hold a lot of them.
