Review: Flexi Leash

I was offered the opportunity to experience a retractable leash, and I decided to let Nala and my mommy experience using it. 😉

Look below for the Good Stuff vs. the Not-So-Good Stuff…

Mommy hasn’t used a retractable leash in a long time. She used to use one when my furry sister, Nala was younger, but for some reason she stopped and bought a regular leash. Since I’m a crazy girl, and I have a habit of doing crazy stuff while walking on a leash, mommy thought it would be best to review a leash that Nala could use. The following is a review of a Flexi^&#174 Leash, good for doggies up to 44lbs.

When I learned that we could put photos on the Flexi^&#174 Leash, I was so excited! Nala and I picked out the photos we wanted to put on there, and used the website to upload them, crop them, and position them exactly where we wanted them on the leash. You could choose to have just one photo, or include a second photo on the reverse side of the leash. The entire process was very easy, and we were done ordering in just a few minutes.

This is the photo I chose for my side of the leash.

Each leash comes with a ‘safety collar.’ From the peeps at Flexi USA:
“The safety collar prevents snap-back if your doggie’s collar breaks,
or if the leash disconnects from your doggie’s collar while in use.”
They suggest always using the safety collar when using the Flexi^&#174 leash.

This is the big brake button.

Pushing down on the brake button, allows you to
stop the leash from moving at any given moment.

It’s very easy to push and hold. When you want to keep the
leash from moving and lock it in a certain position, just push
forward on the lock button, and the leash will lock in place.

The leash can extend up to 16 feet.

And I really like that Nala let me put a photo of ME
on HER leash. Now I’ll be with her, even when I’m not. 😉

The Good Stuff:

Since my mommy was the one handling the leash, I asked her what she liked and disliked about it. Keeping in mind that the leash we reviewed was for doggies up to 44lbs. Mommy reviewed this leash with my furry sister, Nala, who is 27 lbs.

• You can choose a predesigned leash, or personalize a cord retractable leash with your favorite photo or design!
• You get to choose the handle (case) color, too!
• The handle is comfortable and easy to grip.
• The buttons on top to lock and unlock the retractable leash, are very easy to control.
• The leash extends to 16 feet.
• A safety collar is included with each leash.
• Ordering the leash online was very easy-to-understand, and including a personal photo was just as easy.
• The Flexi^&#174 Leash comes with instructions on proper use and care, and includes a list of special precautions.
• There are helpful videos on the company’s website.
• There’s a lifetime warranty!

The Not-So-Good Stuff:

• Hmmm… the only thing is that you can’t fold it up really small and put it in your pocket! Hey, there’s an idea! Teehee!

My conclusion?

Nala, me and mommy were very satisfied with this leash and recommend it to all of our friends! 🙂
