Review: Blue Mini Bars Natural Dog Biscuits

Mommy, daddy, and Taylor recently attended a Pet Expo, and they were able to bring home some free doggie food. One of the samples they brought home, was a bag filled with doggie biscuits. 🙂

But first…

I’ve been having some computer problems the past couple of days, and may not be able to approve comments right away. Don’t worry — I will get my daddy to look at the problem when he gets a free moment later on. Woofies!

Now for my review…

Look below for the Good Stuff vs. the Not-So-Good Stuff…

The treats I’m reviewing today are Blue^TM Mini Bars Natural Dog Biscuits. We also received a bag of kitty treats, which we’ll be sending to our kitty cousins.

Blue^TM Mini Bars Natural Dog Biscuits

Nala and I couldn’t wait to try out these new biscuits.
They are the very first food we’ve tried from Blue Buffalo.
The biscuits come in different flavors, but the ones
we’re going to try, are banana & yogurt flavored.

These little biscuits look like bricks.
You could build a house with them! Teehee!

Mommy always teases us…
but of course, she needs to take those photos!

They smell deliciousss!

Nala couldn’t wait to try them either.

I had to tell Nala to slow down.
There’s a process to review, you know.

Nala didn’t like that one bit. She wanted to try them, NOW.

Haha, I got to go first. I don’t like chewing hard foods,
but this biscuit was fluffy and easy to break in my mouth.

Nala’s 13-years-old and is missing a few teeth, so she
was happy to find these biscuits easy to chew too!

I enjoyed eating a second biscuit!

Nala did too!

Couldn’t we have just one more? 😉

Ingredients…

Oatmeal, Ground Barley, Ground Whole Oats, Bananas, Yogurt, Flaxseed (source of Omega 3 and 6 Fatty Acids), Cane Molasses, Carrots, Canola Oil (preserved with Mixed Tocopherols), Calcium Ascorbate (source of Vitamin C), Vitamin E Supplement, Salt, Calcium Carbonate.

The Good Stuff:

• These biscuits are the perfect treat size. They’re &#190″ x 1″ in size.
• They’re easy to break, but don’t fall apart when you hold them. This is important, ’cause we like to get full treats, and also enjoy treats sprinkled on top of our dinner food. So, they’re just as easy to crumble if needed.
• They taste really good. 🙂
• They’re healthy — made with whole grains, fruits and veggies.
• There are no animal by-products, no corn, wheat or soy.
• There are no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.
• Vitamins and minerals are added to keep us doggies healthy!
• The bag makes a nice sound when you shake it up! Teehee!

The Not-So-Good Stuff:

• Nope! Nothing to see here, friends. Move along! 😉

My conclusion?

Nala and I both LOVE the Blue^TM Mini Bars Natural Dog Biscuits treats — mommy likes them too! They seem to be the perfect treat for us — we get them in the mornings as our “morning bones;” in the afternoon if we’re good (heh), and at night, sprinkled over our dinners. We think they taste wonderful and mommy likes that they’re a healthy treat for us. Thanks for giving our mommy these free treats, Blue Buffalo Company!
