In September, 2011, a tile installation man came to our house, and for three days worked on installing our new tile floor. During these past seven months, he’s had to re-grout many areas of our floor 5 more times, ’cause the grout did not harden properly.

The floor man was supposed to remove ALL of the tile yesterday, and put all new grout in. But he did not show up in the morning as planned — he arrived at 3pm! At 7:45pm, he was still halfway done removing all of the grout. He still has to come back another day to re-grout! Mommy is NOT happy.
This is what happened yesterday…
Mommy and daddy covered the Couch Invader with plastic,
so it wouldn’t get full of dust during the grout removal.
Haha! The Couch Invader is all wrapped up!
Nala and I had to stay in Taylor’s room with mommy.
Most of the time I hung out on Taylor’s bed.
Taylor’s bed is so comfy.
Nala mostly stayed on the floor.
Sometimes she went into MY tent!
And sometimes she ‘let’ me go into MY tent.
Thank you, Nala!
The tile man made so much noise!
He used a machine that removed the grout.
There was so much noise!!
It took a really long time, ’cause he had to
remove each line of grout in between each tile.
This was the big, noisy tool the man used.
Grout-be-gone!
This STILL isn’t over?!
Nala and I can’t take much more of this!
I may not be around as much today either, friends, ’cause the house is a MESS! There is dust all over EVERYTHING (well, except the COUCH INVADER ’cause it was COVERED), and I need to help supervise the cleaning. Isn’t that fun. *Sigh*

What a pain in the tail. Sorry that the tile is such a mess…Maybe this time it will turn out pawfect?? I hope.
Ugh. It’s not fun at all when the house is all torn up and messy! And dusty! And the poor dogs have to be locked in a room…not fun at all! Home improvement in general is not fun. Hope it’s over SOON!!

Wow!!! THIS is really a MESS. I think my mom would be sayin some of her HBO words.
My mom says she knows you are all suffering. Before me and Stanley came to live with her and our dad, they had new carpet put in (bad timing I suppose BOL). The guy putting in the carpet ripped everything out and had just gotten started. The next day when he was supposed to finish, on his way to our house he got pulled over and thrown in jail. Then the sheriff impounded the trailer with mom’s carpet in it! Hopefully your suffering will be over soon and the grout will be great!
How AWFUL Baily! You and Nala shouldn’t have to put up with all that noise and DUST. And the indignity of being locked in a bedroom all day! Where is the JUSTICE????
I think you and Nala should come stay at my house while those silly humans trash yours. And to think that we’re crazy because we circle a time or two before we lie down someplace…

Ouchie! That’s no fun. What a cleanup job! I bet there is even dust stuck to the celing! I hope your mum has had a good night’s sleep. =D
When will it end? I feel bad for you, and the whole family. I think I would rather hangout outside. Hope it gets done soon and is done forever.
