I hang out in my hu-sister’s room a lot. I love being with her, and she has some really cool stuff in there. She usually only has one window open — the one toward the front of the house. But when I was in there a couple of days ago, she had her side window open, too!
Taylor usually keeps her windows closed, ’cause it’s hot
outside most of the time. But the other day, our air conditioning
wasn’t working, so we had all the windows open. I loved hearing
all the birdie sounds while I rested near the open window.
The house got up to 88 degrees with all the windows
open, before daddy was able to fix the air conditioner.
There were so many sounds from outside the window!
Then I heard some rustling in the bushes.
I sat up to take a closer look.
I do have a job, you know… see, there is a
“Beware of Dog” sign right outside on Taylor’s window.
I need to keep watch to make sure my family is safe.
I would even jump out the window if I had to.
It turns out that it was just our neighbor, throwing out
the garbage. But it could have been a life and death situation!
If you come around our house, you’d better BEWARE OF BAILEY! ๐

Sorry it got so hot in the house but at least your dad got the air conditioner fixed. Hope you are all cool and comfy now! And that is furry sweet that you are hanging out with Taylor in her room. You are such a good pup!

I love having windows open! Much better than AC.
You have to watch those neighbors, though. They can be tricky!
We love it when the doors and windows are open. Most of the windows on our first floor don’t open, only the ones in rooms we don’t get to visit. But when the front and back doors are open, there is such a nice breeze. And all those cool sounds too, Bailey.
We know you would definitely protect your family – good sign to have.

Wow Bailey…. You had us on the edge of the couch! We thought there was something bad gonna happen outdside that window. What a relief to know that all turned out well. We’re happy to hear that your Dad fixed the A/C because that could have been miserable!
