Is it bad to keep secrets? I guess sometimes there’s a place for that. I’m just a puppy, so I’m just learning. If I steal something, like a sock, I run to show everyone what I’ve got. It’s a secret because no one knows until I tell them.

I’m a really curious puppy — throw a shadow my way, and I’ll jump on it. Make a strange sound, and I’ll tilt my head and look to see where it’s coming from. But get a huge thing to fly across the sky right over my house, and I’ll run to the nearest shelter to take cover.

So remember when I told you that my family was trying to teach me to come every time they called me? Well that’s going pretty well I think. Mom’s been teaching me how to count too. She says, “Come Bailey.” And if I don’t come the first couple of times, she starts counting. Funny thing though…she never gets past three. On three she starts walking over toward me, and I just know it’s time for me to listen…so I do. It makes mom really happy when I go to her too. 🙂
