I’m a really curious puppy — throw a shadow my way, and I’ll jump on it. Make a strange sound, and I’ll tilt my head and look to see where it’s coming from. But get a huge thing to fly across the sky right over my house, and I’ll run to the nearest shelter to take cover.
I was playing outside when I heard this huge sound… “eeeerrrrrrrrrrr…” It started off low, then it got a little louder. And then it got even louder. I stood up on the deck to see if I could see where the sound was coming from, but I couldn’t see anything.
The sound was so loud now, that it was almost like something was going to fall down on me. All of my puppy senses were working overtime!
Where was it?!
Then all of a sudden, there it was! Mommy was outside with me when it passed over — she said it was called a plane! I don’t know why they call it that, because there’s nothing plain about it!
How could something so small make such a loud sound?
What? Oh, wait one second. Mommy said that the planes only look small, but that they are really very, very big. They look small because they’re way up high in the sky. Which is OK with me, because they’re scary!
Speaking of loud noises…another thing that makes really loud noises, is a train! I hear a train almost every day — we aren’t that close to the tracks, but when the train goes over the tracks it makes such a loud rumbling (almost like the rumbling in my tummy when I’m hungry, but scarier).
Mommy took a picture of this train the other day — it’s a circus train that went through our neighborhood.

She took it to show me, because the name on it says, “Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.” Did you see that? Bailey Circus! Haha. If I owned a circus, I would probably let all the animals go free. All animals deserve good homes and to be loved. Right? ๐

Lady, Lucky, and Linus took a vote and decided that you should indeed be in charge of the circus so that you could let all the animals go free! What a grand idea!
Yay!! Thanks so much for letting me know — it’s great to have other furries who think like me. ๐

I don’t like loud noises, but I would love my own circus train! Do you get to ride in it?
I have a blog that I would love for you to check out, http://www.PetBlogsUnited. It’s a blog I started to bring pet bloggers together. There are lots of fun ways to be featured on Pet Blogs United, so we’d love to see you there.
Nubbin wiggles,

Hi Oskar! Thanks for visiting me! I didn’t get to ride on that train, but I was so excited to see my name on it!
I’ve been following your blog for a while now…I love finding new doggie (& sometimes cat) blogs, and making new friends. I will tell my mommy about your blog, and see if she could send an email to you.
Woofs & hugs!

Noisy things ARE scary! But it is cool that you saw a circus train with your name on it! We think it would be very cool if you owned the circus and let all the animals go free. But then you wouldn’t have much of a circus anymore! ๐
I think it was cool to see a Bailey train too! ๐
