I get to do some fun things with my daddy, but most of the time I have no pictures to show for it. *sigh*
That’s right daddy. I know you’re gonna read this, and I know mommy already told you. But next time we do something fun, you gotta be prepared!
Yesterday morning while mommy and Taylor were still sleeping, daddy took me to the local dog park! Nala stayed home ’cause she doesn’t like other doggies. Since I have no pictures to show you, you’ll have to use your imagination while I try and describe stuff. 😉
Daddy put my black and red harness/seat belt on and took me into our big, blue car. We drove for a while, and I didn’t even feel sick in the car! When we got there, I was sooo curious! There was one doggie inside the fence — daddy said it was some kind of hound doggie. He was white and had different colored spots. When I got inside the fence, we sniffed each other and followed each other around for a while, but it was really hot out already so we didn’t stay for too long.
Then daddy took me on a nearby nature trail. It looked like we were walking into a forest! While walking, I saw a gopher tortoise! It was small in size — daddy said it must have been a baby.
Then we went back to the doggie park. There were a few more doggies there now besides that white hound doggie. There was a Corgi, a St. Bernard, and a Golden Retriever! I sniffed some doggies for a little bit, and then daddy and I left.
So that was my first experience in a doggie park. I think I behaved really well! I know you all and mommy would have loved to see pictures! (hint hint) Maybe next time I’ll have something to show you.
My Favorite TV Show
Saturday nights my mommy watches my favorite television show… Pit Boss. She always records it so she can watch it really late at night when it’s quiet.
This past Saturday night, mommy put on the show, and as soon as I saw doggies on the television, my ears perked up, I jumped to my feet, and I started to harrumph! Well, that made mommy pause my show! I stared and stared at the TV, waiting for the doggies to move again. But they didn’t!
Then mommy said, “If you want to watch the doggies, you have to be quiet. Daddy and Taylor went ‘night night sleepies’ and you have to be quieeeeet.”

So, mommy started the show back up, and I layed on the floor…
without making a sound.

I didn’t bark one bit the entire time, and enjoyed every minute.
That shorty is a hoot!
Happy Monday woofs & hugs, friends!

Hey Bailey,
I sure would have loved to see some pics of your first visit to the Dog Park! My Mum always has the camera at the ready, but yep, my Dad doesn’t have it ready so often, sometimes that’s good though, cos he can’t capture evidence of my mischief! Tee Hee
Glad you’re having lots of fun
Your pal Snoopy 🙂
Too cool, Bailey!!
We likes watching It’s Me or The Dog with our mom. We has fun barking at the talking pooches. Mom never seems to appreciate the genuis of the conversation though! Silly peeples!!

In OUR house, dad is the photo maker so if he isn’t along, we get no pictures, either. But I could close my eyes and “see” you meeting your first Park friends and exploring the hiking trail. Dad and me” time is always very special.
Yup….you definitely need to force your Dad to carry the camera.
I like to watch the doggies on TV too. :o)
Have a nice week!
We bet you had a great time at the park! Sometimes it’s fun not to have that flashy beast in your face all of the time…that way you can just have lots of fun!!! Lots of love, Holly & Mom
Oh how sad. I watched the preview for Pit Boss. I had never watched that before.
I hate it when I have a good time and Mommy does not have the camera. I would have loved to share photos of Mommy’s sick day and the fun we had yesterday too. I guess, sometimes, we just have to use our words. Glad to hear Nala is doing better with the storms. And glad to hear that Mommy and Taylor are feeling better too. Now to get back to having fun!!!
Puppy Kisses,
Tanner
What an exciting day with your Paw. Paws don’t usually have flashy box glued to their hands like our moms
Benny & Lily
