It was a surprise to us, when mommy packed us up and brought us over to doggie camp last week. We were so sad!
But first…
I hope you don’t mind me sharing another drawing my mommy did. Can you guess who he is?
It’s Hawk, from Brown Dog CBR!
My mommy doesn’t have any rhyme or reason to which furries she draws (unless it has been commissioned). She is currently building up her portfolio… and since I have the best looking furry friends, she’s been browsing around the bloggie neighborhood. When a photograph catches her eye, she just knows… and that’s the drawing she chooses. Since I’ve been asked a couple of times… all of the drawings I post are 5″x7″ unless it says otherwise. If I post a drawing of your furry one, you can indeed purchase it. Please contact me. I will let my mommy know. You can find more information on this page. Thank you, friends! Woofs! π
Now for Doggie Camp *Sigh*
This was Nala and me on our way to doggie camp. Mommy gave me
an anti-anxiety pill the morning of drop off, and I didn’t make
myself sick. Now that’s progress!
This was us the next day, after mommy came to pick us up.
Thank goodness it was only overnight! We were so happy
to be going home. We hate being away from our family!

Your drawings are beautiful! I’ve frequently wished that I was able to draw, but I guess my talents just lie in other areas!
That’s such a great drawing! I am so excited to see the drawing of urban hounds!:) I might have to be at doggie daycare for a week when my humans go to Mexico this year! I don’t want to do it but the lady at day care is really nice so I am sure it will work out. Plus, she has two pugs of her own as well. π

Wow that drawing is amazing, your Mommy is very special. I don’t know what I would do if I had to leave my family overnight. I have major anxiety issues and something else called separation anxiety so I would surely cry and who knows what else. You were so brave and I am glad you are home.

Good thing you weren’t away from home long. My mom was glad to see you both were wearing seat harnesses in the car. (She bought them for me and Stanley but we’re too little so for now we are in our kennels.)

That’s (p)AWFUL, Baily! You must have been in really big trouble that your Mom sent you away overnight. My Mom always CRIES if she can’t be with us over night. ‘Course, my Mom cries a LOT! π

I’m glad you and Nala are home at last. I don’t like staying in the doggie camp either, once I was there, it took me many days to get used to it and when I thought I would be there forever, my humans came. Phew!!!

Hey Bailey, Jet here. Can I share something embarrassing about Mom? She never posted because every time she clicked, she saw the same December post. She never scrolled down and figured out where your posts were. Please forgive her.
We’ve been saving up our applaws for your Mom for sooooo long. We LOVED her drawing of Fred (Basset Momma) and now our buddy Hawk? Oh, too awesome for words. Mom will do her best to save up some biscuit money this year and hopefully do that commission thing for Koko (may she be frolicking over the Rainbow bridge). She said your Mom captures this thing called spirit or essence!
