Sooo, there’s been quite a few things happening at our house the past few weeks…
Taylor…
As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, my hu-sister hasn’t been well. She’s been in the ER 5 times in the past 3 weeks. She’s seen one specialist so far, who is trying one thing to help her feel better. If that doesn’t work, she will see the other specialist next week. It’s been really stressful for her, since she’s missed so much school, she’s had to switch to home school. I get to see lots more of her now.
Sometimes Taylor is feeling a bit better, and then in the next moment, she’ll be in pain. She had an MRI done the last time she was in the ER, and they told us that there isn’t anything serious going on. But it must be something, ’cause she still isn’t feeling well. I hope she feels better soon, ’cause her birthday’s coming up and it would be awful if she was sick on her birthday. ๐
Me…
I’m doing pretty well. I still occasionally (not often) get nervous and/or excited and piddle in the house, so my mommy had a urinalysis done. That came back negative, so the doctor wanted to try and see if my muscles needed to be strengthened. I just started taking Proin the other day. It’s a medicine that’s used to help doggies not have piddling accidents. I’ll let you know how things go with that. ๐
Taylor received an early birthday present the other day — it’s a manual lens for her DSLR camera. This lens allows her to get really sharp close-up photos, while keeping the background kinda blurry.

Nala…
Nala’s doing OK for almost being 14 years old (this November). She is a little hard of hearing when she sleeps, but funny… she hears perfectly fine when someone opens the refrigerator door! She also is having some trouble jumping up on things, especially the bench by the window. The other day she tried to jump up and we’re not sure what happened, but she fell off and was limping. Ever since then, she’s had some trouble getting up after laying down for a while. Mommy says that it looks like she is sore, but that she’s OK. She tries to not allow Nala to go on the bench anymore, but they don’t know what she does when no one’s home. Heh.

Bubba…
Bubba is irresistible as ever! He’s also been helping Nala and me take care of Taylor. Whenever she doesn’t feel well, we take Bubba out and he’s just so darn cute… he makes Taylor forget her health troubles for just a little bit.

The Couch Invader…
Remember the Couch Invader? That horrible new couch that replaced our old one, just 9 months ago? Well, it’s leaving today! But guess what? They’re delivering a new one. Bah! The support system in the cushions deteriorated and it cannot be fixed… so they’re sending a new one. I just can’t get rid of that thing. *Sigh*
This cushion is the worst of all of them.
I hope all of you are well. Mommy says she may be starting to draw again soon — it just depends on whether Taylor is feeling well. I hope to visit you all soon. ๐

Bailey, so sorry about Taylor not feeling well. I hope they find the cause and get her all better way before her birthday! She is a good little shutterbug – great job on the photos – you all look so beautiful! Sure hope Nala feels better too. Sending lots of Husky hugs to you guys, and especially your Mommy who I’m sure needs a few right now.
We hope Taylor gets better real soon:) and tell Nala to be more careful so she doesn’t hurt herself! And we hope your piddling gets better!!!!! We are keeping paws crossed that things get better at your house soon!

I hope your sister gets better, we are all praying for her. The new camera lens makes you look so clear and almost 3-D Bailey.

Oh I hope your hu-sis is doing better! We have our paws crossed for her!
Harrrooo dearies! First off we all Taylor gets to feeling better. She sounds pretty brave going to all those doctors. Because the doctors tend to make me upset. We’ll be sending healing huskerboo vibes.

Oh Bailey, we are so sorry to hear that Taylor is still not feeling very well! We don’t like to hear that at all. That’s really stinky… We’ll keep our paws crossed that the Dr’s can figure it out real soon so that she will be a happy camper once again.
Taylor is doing a great job with her new lens!!!!! The pictures of you and Nala that she took are beyond words. So crisp and clear and of course, such beautiful models too.
We hope that this new medicine helps with your piddling problem. And poor Nala too. Good that she didn’t break a paw or something.
Sounds like Bubba is the only healthy one around there. Goodness! At least Bubba is keeping you all entertained while everyone’s under the weather.

Your Mommy must be on overload right about now. Tell her to take some vitamin’s so she stays healthy.
