I usually join in Mischief Mondays, but today I’m going to do my very first Monday Moment…
But first…
Mommy’s been a bad patient. ๐ She’s supposed to be staying off her feet as much as possible, but she is having some trouble being dependent on others. Most of the time she is using crutches, but when she isn’t having a lot of pain, she has been walking a little on the heel of her bad foot. She’s also been driving a bit… with her left foot! But just a couple of days ago, she tripped over one of our doggie gates with her good foot, and landed a bit hard on her bad foot, so now she’s in pain again. How’s that for a bad patient?
Now for Monday Moment…
Mommy hates not being able to do stuff for
herself because of her broken toe. So she’s put
a few things on the floor next to the couch
to keep her from having to get up.

Love the photo! Maybe mommy needs a cone of shame that sticks out past her foot to help her stay off it until the toe heals.
Poor mommy. Hope her foot is better real soon. That is a great picture Bailey!
Howdy to you! Haven’t been by in ages and we’re so sorry to hear of your mama’s broken toe. Ouch! Tell her to chill and listen to her doctor’s orders to stay off her paws…It’ll shorten her recovery time. ๐

I think you are just gonna have to PUT YOUR PAW DOWN… HARD and make her BEHAVE.
Poor Mama, it has to be so frustrating.

It must be a mom trait …..they can’t just sit a be still and they always end up making things worse.
It was hard for me too when I broke my foot. I’m so used to doing things. We hope you heal quickly!

It is very hard when you are supposed to stay OFF the foot! Having gone through a broken leg and foot surgery…it is not easy. Please try though because sometimes if you try to do too much too soon…you end up in a wheelchair for 12 weeks. Hang in there!
