Dogs and books… there are so, so many. And I never get tired of them… especially dog books with my picture in them! Teehee!

Mommy says she’s gonna start drawing again soon. I can’t wait ’cause I love how happy people get when they see their furries drawn… it makes me so happy! It makes mommy happy too. Remember that drawing that my mommy gave to Shorty Rossi of the television show, Pit Boss? A couple of weeks ago, she posted a video that Shorty had posted on his Facebook page. But she didn’t realize that he also had posted a couple of photos to Instagram, and also to his Facebook page. These photos show mommy’s drawing of Hercules in Shorty’s home in Mexico. She’s so excited and honored to have it displayed in his home. <3

I couldn’t wait to see my painting inside!
Carole painted 36 doggies to include in Doggitude.

Nala: “Sooo… I’m really not in it, huh?”
The Good Stuff:
- The book has photographs of doggie paintings… 36 of them!
- There’s 80 pages of doggie goodness, all beautifully represented in watercolors by Carole Pivarnik.
- Carole painted a picture of ME!!
- Each doggie comes with their little story, and a personalized haiku by Carole.
- Carole includes a few pages on how she began her book project, and how she followed through.
- The book has a softcover, and is light enough to carry around with you.
The Not-So-Good Stuff:
- Move along… there’s nothin’ to see here. It’s all good! π
My conclusion?
I recommend the book, “Doggitude: What Dogs REALLY Think — In 17 Sassy Syllables,” by Carole Pivarnik. If you love doggies, art, and cute haiku sayings, you’ll enjoy reading through Carole’s book. She has a special way of capturing furry ones with watercolors, and is able to paint each personality to shine through the paper. Thanks so much again, Carole, for including me in your book! I just love the painting! π

My hu-sister Taylor designed that tag! It was part of a larger photograph that she took. π I tried to get Dog Tag Art to sell it, but they just don’t think it’s good enough, I guess. π
