It’s been… π
On February 19 my hu-sister had nose surgery. You can see how she looked just a few days after her surgery. It’s been TWO months, so I thought I would share some of her progress in ‘Before’ and ‘After’ photos. π
Overall, Taylor is very happy with her nose. The doctor narrowed and straightened her nose, opened her nostrils, took away her bump, and pointed it more upward. She didn’t want any drastic change — she wanted to still look like herself after the surgery. We think her doctor did a great job. There is still a lot of swelling though, and the doctor said that her nose would take a year and more to change and refine.
The “after” photos below are from about 2 weeks ago, since I set up posts in advance. Taylor’s nose changes every day, so it looks a little bit different from these photos. π
Before I show you Taylor’s nose…
Recently, my mommy did something completely different (and finished it 2 nights ago). She drew a human! OOOOOHHH. That’s right, a HUMAN! But not just any human. She drew my hu-sister, Taylor!

This is my hu-sister, Taylor. <3
My mommy says, “Things have been a bit stressful around here, especially since my mom was diagnosed with cancer again. To keep my mind occupied, I am trying to focus on drawing. My daughter is into photography, and recently shot a self-portrait of herself, which I love. It’s rare that I draw people, but the other day I felt compelled to draw it. I just finished it. :)”
Mommy added this latest drawing to her page, and her Facebook page, where you could see a larger photo of the drawing. π
Now for Taylor’s Update… (After photos are at least 2 weeks old)

I’d love my Taylor with any nose! <3

Wow, the drawing of Taylor is AWESOME!
I’m so glad that she’s recovered so well from her surgery. She looks kind of like a movie star now π
I love the drawing! Great pose. And I love that it’s black and white. π
Her nose looks fantastic! Now that we have Charley we will definitely get in touch with you about having a portrait done of him to match the one of Finn!
That is a wonderful drawing.
