It’s been so hot lately, that I’ve had to either spend lots of time indoors or I’ve played lots in my big pool. My mommy, daddy and Taylor also have their big pool, but I haven’t tried it out yet.
I try to get in… trust me. But they just won’t let me. Well, daddy kind of tried to get me to jump in, but that wouldn’t have happened ’cause mommy was right there. I just need a life jacket and doggie ramp first. Come on, mommy… I wanna try the big pool!
Nala hates water, so she stays in the house most of the time. 🙂

It’s so hard to find the way into the BIG pool!

I thought I might be able to dig my way in, but that didn’t work.

I jumped up on one side and saw my mommy in the pool.
Then I remembered…

The steps!

Daddy’s still working on redoing the deck, but he finished some steps.

One day I’m gonna get into that pool… I know I am!
I didn’t think it was fair that mommy got to go into her pool. I wanted to swim, too! So Taylor turned over my pool, and started to fill it up with water. But if you know me, I wasn’t gonna make it easy. Teehee!

WoooHooo! I couldn’t wait until my pool was filled up!

Everytime that Taylor tried to fill the pool, I attacked the hose.
I LOVE water splashing in my face!

OOH, didn’t see that one. The water nearly knocked me out of the pool!

I needed to take a quick roll in the grass.

Then I climbed up to visit with mommy.
Don’t pools look like huge water bowls?

My girl curls are back! Mommy and Taylor love my wet look.

I prefer to let my fur dry naturally…

But not before I take another dip in my pool! Yeah!

I love it when no one’s watching.. it’s so peaceful.

There’s nothing like a dip in the pool…

And then lounging in the shade.
After I’d been outside for a while, Taylor let me inside so I wouldn’t overheat. I ran right to my drying spot — the couch by the window. It’s a good thing Nala wasn’t on it, or she’d get wet.

I was so exhausted after playing outside.

Taylor put the wet towel on me, but I still felt like melting away.

And then I did.
Happy Sunday, friends! Big woofs & hugs!
~Bailey (Yep, I’m a girl)

Looks like you sure know how to have a good time in your pool Bailey!
I love your wet look!
We bet you will love the big pool once you can go in safely, Bailey. But meanwhile it sure looks like you enjoy your small one. How nice to have the pool all to yourself.
Happy Sunday.

You sure had some good time in the pool! I love your pool, the water looks so good and cooling!
It has been sometime I don’t have any swimming session since Mika has stopped his hydrotherapy, may be I should tell my mom to fill up the tank again!
That looks like a lot of fun. We aren’t exactly water dogs, but even we want to get wet in the heat of summer.
Bailey what a fun time you are having! Our Momster wishes we likes water even a little bit, she’s always been used to retrievers who would jump in a puddle let alone a pool whereas we skirt around puddles and wouldn’t dream of getting our coats wet in a pool, even when it’s boiling hot like today. We look forward to seeing you in the big pool, now that will be great!!! Dex and Lou xxx
