Sealing the Grout & a Car Ride Part 2

This post is continued from yesterday.

These photos are from this past Thursday, the day after the floor man sealed the grout…

I think Nala and I have been so patient with this whole floor thing.

It did have some good points though, like being close to each other.

I love my sister. <3

The day after the floor was sealed, Nala and I still
couldn’t walk on it, ’cause the tile was cleaned with a
strong chemical. Mommy didn’t think we should put our paws
on it until she cleaned it the next day. I chose to hang
out on the wood, while Nala relaxed on my pillow.

I got to go with mommy and Taylor in the morning
to bring Taylor to school. I loved all the car trips!

I also got to go pick her up in the afternoon.

The photo above was taken just after mommy had to stop short — some dumb boy was driving a car on the street to the right of us, and he did not at the stop sign. Mommy didn’t have any stop sign, so she did not have to stop. As she got to his corner, he just kept on going and drove right out in front of us. Mommy stopped short and even though I had my seat belt on, my entire bottom half ended up falling off the seat. I was shocked and scared and didn’t know what was happening. Mommy pulled right over and had to unlatch the seat belt to help me back up on the seat. I was so nervous. Mommy decided right then that this was NOT a good seat belt, at least for me, and decided she would look for another one that would keep me in my seat all the time, like the one that Nala uses. If only that fit me better…

The sun was so bright going home!

It makes my furs look golden. ๐Ÿ™‚

And of course, as soon as we arrived home, there was the
neighborhood kitty waiting for us right next door. I think
he knows to stay off of our property as long as I’m around. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Mommy says the refrigerator died and it was time for a new one. Guess what? Nala and I will have to go in the bedroom today when it’s delivered. *Sigh*

Thank goodness your Momma was so alert while driving! That must have been scary for you!

  2. Oh Bailey, I can’t tell you how happy I am that your mom was paying attention when that other driver wasn’t! Give mom lots of kisses and love for being such a defensive driver. You are very lucky. I agree, the sunshine on your fur shows it’s natural beauty. I love that you love your sister so much. Nala is one special doggy. Tell you mom Happy Mother’s Day!
