My mommy puts lots of stuff on the calendar to remind her to do things for Nala and me — like to remember to give us Frontline, or Heartgard. But today’s grooming appointment was not on the calendar!
It’s a busy weekend for me again, friends, but I will be by to visit soon. Of course my mommy managed to fit in a grooming session, ’cause my ear furs get tangled so easily. The last time mommy tried to get rid of all the knots underneath, she promised that she would brush them every single day so they wouldn’t get tangled again. Did she do that? Nooo! So ’cause of that, I had to suffer through yet another stressful detangling.
*sigh*
This is the tangle remover thingie that mommy used.
Mommy told me I had some really big knots under there.
Knots?! Not AGAIN!

Why do these knots keep coming back?
It took some time, but mommy got out a lot of my knots. I won’t lie — I didn’t like it one bit. I tried to get away a few times, but I eventually just gave in and let her do her thing. I mean, I didn’t really want knots…
Once the right side was done, she started on the left.
Oh good! No knots here, right?
Wrong! If only she didn’t lift up my fur…
Finally done! Getting knots out is NOT one of my favorite things.
Look at all those knots mommy took out!
I loved getting cheese afterward — that made it so worth it.
Nala got some free cheese, thanks to me. ๐
Finally knot-free again. ๐
Mommy promised to brush my ear fur every day from now on. I bet she wouldn’t furget if she kept getting ear knots! Teehee! ๐

That’s always tough isn’t it Bailey! i remember Bear used to get those nasty knots around in his ear fur too and sometimes I would have to cut some of them out! Your Momma did a good job. You must feel so much better! ๐
That is cute. I like fur brushies. I don’t like going to the groomer, but just brushies at home is okay.
OH GIRRRRL… I know how you feel about NOT Lovin NAUGHTY KNOTS… I would have them too… butt beclaws I BEG to be Groomered.. my mom seems to keep them from happenin.

Oh, my poor Baily! That had to be TORTURE! Sable gets knots like that in the fur around her ears too. Mom says it’s because she so loves to have her ears scratched. Sable, not Mom! ๐
Speaking of grooming…I’m going to go do a new blog post and there will be pictures showing the most unbelievable dog grooming I’ve ever seen. Be glad you’re not one of THOSE dogs…
