There was another post I was going to share, but recently, something happened on my hu-mommy’s computer (file server side) and she ‘misplaced/lost/can’t find’ more than 3 years worth of photos and files. SIGH. She is beyond upset, because in those 3 years of photos, are photos and videos of her mommy. I sure hope someone figures out how to find them. I hope they’re not gone forever.
I wanted to share that I’ve lost about 20 lbs since I started my diet about 6 months ago! In August 2014 I was at my heaviest at 87 lbs, and now I’m at 67.4! I just have a couple of pounds to go, then I’ll be in great shape! Having Jax around sure is making these last few pounds just fall off! π

I also wanted to share a lot of photos of Jax and me, but those are on my mommy’s file server. So until then, I’ll post a few recent ones that I thought were way cute. At the end are some recent photos of JoJo, our Syrian hamster, and her new home. I hope you enjoy them! π
Have you seen Jax’s first post with the video?

Daddy really built this window seat with a ramp for Nala,
but by the time he finished it, she couldn’t walk up it
without help. I bet she’d be happy to know that Jax
keeps me company up here now.
Jax likes dirt. We must be related.
Not really, heh.
I’m a Belgian Shepherd/Leonberger mix.
We think that Jax is a Shepherd/Chow mix.
Jax also likes to dig holes. Does this remind you of someone?
That girl with the gorgeous floppy ears?
What a copy-cat, Jax!
Remember my Digging Rampage video?
I had a huge bed, and we just got a second,
but Jax chooses to share one with me…often.
He’s so needy. π
He even has his own baby bed.
Sometimes he likes alone time in his baby bed.
Sometimes I like alone time in his baby bed. π
We like to run outside, and I especially love when
Jax chases me. Sometimes I just have to look at him to
get him to chase, or I grab his toy and run!
Mommy bought us a frisbee to play with. I remember
playing frisbee with Nala when I was a puppy. <3
I love stealing sharing the frisbee with Jax.
Jax is finally able to eat & drink from Nala’s food stand!
I miss my Nala, but I’m glad Jax is here.
More Jax Facts…
So I learned some more things about Jax, and have added them to my list…
~ 1-25-15: Jax is 2 months old and 10.7 lbs. The rescue organization gave him the name “Mojo,” which happens to rhyme with our hamster’s name, “JoJo! He won’t get nearly as big as me (currently down to 70 lbs — 5 lbs more to go!), but he might get to be about 45-50 lbs (Nala was at least 30 lbs when she was her biggest). Jax was born November 19, the DAY AFTER Nala (November 18). Jax also happens to look a little like me.
~ 2-3-15: He’s 12.8 lbs now, and gaining a little more each day. He won’t get nearly as big as me, though! Haha!
~ 2-24-15: Jax is 3 months, 1 week old and is 16.2 lbs. The doctor thinks he’ll definitely be under 40 lbs, so he’ll at least be as big as Nala was at her heaviest & healthiest (32 lbs). When I was 3 months old, I was already 30 lbs!
~ 2-26-15: Jax is finally learning how to ring the potty bell to let us know he has to go out. He’s just 13 weeks, so it’s still hard for him to hold it for long, but he tries!
~ 2-26-15: Jax barks when asked to TALK! He doesn’t have a strong bark yet (and doesn’t really bark much at all), but when he does it’s really cute and high-pitched and lots of times he sounds like Chewbacca from Star Wars. We should have named him Chewie. Teehee!
~ Jax is scared of loud noises (passing trucks, motorcycles, trains, thunder, mowers, etc). He bolts toward the house, even if he has to go potty.
~ He would rather curl up with me in one of my big beds, rather than sleep alone in his little bed. Though he does like that too. π
~ He really does look fierce sometimes, and he’s just 3 months old.
What’s up with JoJo?…
JoJo is much different than Bubba. Bubba wasn’t afraid of me. He would walk on me, clean the greens that stuck to my feet, and wouldn’t even look scared of me. JoJo is not like that. She is much more aware of things, and is very afraid of me. She will even freeze if she hears me walking around. She doesn’t know I’m friendly, and she isn’t going to take a chance to find out. So I have to watch JoJo from afar. It’s a good thing I have Jax to keep me busy! π
JoJo our Syrian hamster, came to our family 2 months ago. She’s now 4 months old and still growing! She now has a 55 gallon tank, and happily housed in our living room so everyone could enjoy her when she comes out to play… at 2 am! Teehee! Mommy usually sees her the most, since she’s up a lot in the early morning hours. π

JoJo’s still cute as ever. And at just
2 months old, she was sure to grow. She would
need a larger home than her 20 gallon tank.
So JoJo was upgraded to a 55 gallon tank,
and mommy painted a background mural for her.
The watercolor painting measures 48″x20″.
Here’s a close-up of S.S. JoJo!
And here’s the painting in JoJo’s home.
Mommy also put together her wooden play home.
JoJo is one lucky Syrian hamster. <3
News from my hu-mommy…
Today marks ONE YEAR since my mom left to join my brother — I CANNOT believe that it’s been this long. Time has not made things easier. I still miss her like crazy. As JK Simmons pleaded to everyone at the Oscars: “Call your mom, call your dad. If youβre lucky enough to have a parent or two alive on this planet, call βem. Donβt text. Donβt email. Call them on the phone. Tell βem you love βem, and thank them, and listen to them for as long as they want to talk to you.” I’m so thankful I talked to my mom often throughout each day, and told her I loved her every single time. I miss her so very much. <3 I've done a few more paintings since this last post. You are welcome to view those in my DeviantArt Gallery. π
I haven’t painted in the past month, because of our new addition. π Jax is about 13 weeks old now, and he loves to play and NIP Bailey sometimes when they’re playing. I had originally stopped them playing when they started biting each other (Bailey doesn’t really bite, but does make it look like she is), but our wonderful veterinarian had advised us to let them work it out themselves (unless it gets too out of hand). He said that Bailey needs to be the one to teach Jax to not bite her, not us. It was so hard to just sit and watch her let out a cry when he’s nipped her, and she does a great job so far in responding to his nips. His head has been in her mouth so many times (she does not bite), and usually he’ll end up in a submissive position and stop for just a moment… then he’s back in the game and nipping Bailey. So we’ve changed our minds and have started monitoring his nipping and are trying to stop it before it starts. We hate to think of him growing up and still biting her.
It’s sad to think how much time Bailey lost out on with Nala being too old to really play chase for long — by the time she came around to accepting Bailey, Nala was already 13 years old. She might have had that one year to play chase outside (which I do believe Nala enjoyed), but her arthritis slowly crept up on her and she started slowing down. Bailey loved playing chase, so we all took turns filling in for Nala when she couldn’t. Bailey’s definitely getting a lot more exercise with all this sibling play! So far Bailey’s lost more than 20 lbs in about 6 months on the OM Weight Management diet, and the JAX diet! Both are doing wonders for her hip dysplasia! She’ll be down to her target weight (65 lbs) in no time, especially with Jax around. π

Are you following the correct link for my RSS Feed?
I heard from many of you that my feed has not been showing up in your readers for quite some time. I am so sorry! Feedburner said my RSS Feed got too big, and it stopped sending it out. :/ So I deleted it and it’s now located here. The problem I have, is that everyone who had previously subscribed, is no longer subscribed. π I have your emails, and plan on sending out one general message asking everyone to change the URL of the feed so you could continue receiving it in your reader (nope, haven’t done this yet). You can always visit my page and click on the RSS link in the sidebar. I hope this will solve the problem, so you can be notified of new posts. Please do let me know if this solves the problem! π

Hugs for u and famlee. π
Oh Bailey, you look so wonderful and trim and healthy! The pic of little Jax in your bed is so darling! We think Nala would definitely approve of sharing the window seat. <3 Please give your hu-mommy a big hug from us and a bunch of kisses from our FiveSibes. We are so sorry for her loss…we know that while her mom and brother will forever be with her in her in heart, it's an empty sadness for sure. Good thing she has you and Jax to keep her company and fill her with lots of love (and busy fun!) Thinking of you guys…
Crikey Bailey …… you’ve lost weight!! How good is that??? Bet you feel better. That little Jax is such a cutey. I’m sure he’ll soon learn not to use those sharp little puppy teeth on people or his big sister.
We think Jax is a grrrrrand addition to the family… Cute as all get out…
You are teaching him super stuffs, Bailey. AND congratulations on the dieting success.
Thank you!! And thank you so much for always being there to support me. It means more than you know. π
Woofs & huggies!

Hi Bailey, Jax, JoJo & JM,
We are so happy to have this update on all of you! It’s been a while and we’ve thought of you often. Good job Bailey on your diet. That’s just pawsome that you’ve lost all that weight. Mommy has us on diet’s also but so far it’s not working well at all. Grandpa Bob likes to sneak us lot’s of food under the table (when he thinks no one is looking.) Jax sure is giving his nipping skills a good workout. You’re so good Bailey for tolerating it so well. We see that you two are becoming good furends (despite the nipping), as we love the picture of you two in the bed together all snuggled in tight. We know you are missing your sweet Nala. She was very special and we miss her too. Your little JoJo sounds like a real character!! Wow, her habitat sure is impressive looking. And to have an original JM sketch as a backdrop is way cool. (We still LOVE our sketches and get so many compliments on them.)
We sure hope that your Mom gets her priceless pictures and videos back again. That would be a killer to have lost them forever. Mommy is a firm believer of backing up her compute files and just did it again the other day.
We too saw JK’s speech at the Oscars and it made us cry. He really hit the nail right on the head! We are lucky that we have Grandpa Bob living with us so we can show him our love each and every day in these later years of his life. Hard to believe he’s 90!
We miss our Grandma very much too and know exactly how you feel. Not a day goes by that we don’t shed a tear or two over our broken hearts. It’s especially hard on Mommy bcuz here in Florida, this was Grandma’s house that we’re in. There are constant reminders every single day of the wonderful woman that lived here. (Mommy hasn’t changed much around here in the 7 years.) It tugs at Mommy’s heart-strings. But we know Grandma had an awesome life and we try to keep things upbeat for Grandpa Bob’s sake.
OK, we’re done with our novel and now it’s time for coffee π
Sending you BIG hugs and lot’s of love!
Hugs,
Lily Belle, Muffin & Mommy Kim
xoxo
Thank you, and thank you so much from my mommy — she sooo appreciates everything you said and I do too! Much love, woofs & huggies to all of you!!
